  • Phase 1 (Years 1 and 2) – Pre-Clinical Phase:
  • Based at the Petaling Jaya campus, this phase focuses on foundational medical sciences, including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology. Students also gain early exposure to clinical settings, bridging the gap between theory and practice from the start.
  • Phase 2 (Years 3, 4, and 5) – Clinical Phase:
  • Conducted at hospitals and healthcare facilities in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, this phase offers hands-on training. Students rotate through specialties such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, and Family Medicine, developing real-world patient care skills.

The program is accredited by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools, ensuring it meets global standards. The curriculum emphasizes clinical competence, ethical practice, and lifelong learning. Graduates are ready to serve as primary care physicians, with the ability to diagnose illnesses, prescribe treatments, perform minor surgeries, and contribute to community health.

1. What are the admission requirements for the MD program at Lincoln University College?

Applicants need one of the following qualifications: STPM: Grades BBA, ABC, or AAC in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics. A-Level: Grades BBB, ABC, or AAC in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics. Foundation/Matriculation in Science: CGPA 3.0 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, plus 5 B’s at the secondary level. UEC: B4 in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Additional Mathematics. English proficiency and MMC requirements also apply.
